Somatic Life Coaching with noah chute
No matter where you’d like to move forward in your life-from improving self care habits to starting a new business or creative endeavor, to fostering a better relationship with yourself and others, I’d love to support you in taking a deep look at and breaking down any barriers holding you back from living the life you and/or your soul desire. Together, we can build some shiny new bridges from the rubble!
So many of us struggle to bring our dreams into reality on our own. Having an attentive, reflective, supportive person to provide some outside accountability, to hold up a mirror to all facets of oneself, as well as be your cheerleader when you need it can be the key to bridging the gap between simply dreaming and actually realizing those dreams. I’m not interested in telling you what to do-I’m here to help you cultivate your own best knowing.

Why Fire and Moon?
It was explained to me once that an effective support person is able to provide both the ‘cup’ and the ‘sword,’ and these, to me, are the energies reflected in fire and the moon. The moon, our ‘cup’ represents holding, being held, grounding into oneself, whilst the fire is the sword, prodding us forward and bringing our light and heat into the world to be felt and seen. I will hold such a space with you-combining these elements and many more.
Why Me?
My life has been driven by curiosity and wonder, and I've spent most of it quietly observing the world and its inhabitants. Among many other things, I’ve always been fascinated by people, finding out about the unique gifts that they can offer, and what forces in their lives have influenced how they show up. In the never-ending process of trying to learn about my own patterns and challenges, I’ve been blessed to work with and learn from a wide variety of established teachers in numerous areas, from somatic-based therapists to leaders in men’s work and vision questing, and so on. I am so grateful for those folks, and also consider every being and space that I'm able to interact with to be a teacher if I'm willing to learn (especially the ones I feel challenge with), and have dedicated myself to being a perpetual student.
Working with people one-on-one (and occasionally in groups) is the richest space I have found to apply my own gifts, to weave together my instincts with perspectives and tools that have been shared with me along the way in order to serve the people I work with as fully as I can. It can go deep and be very serious and we tend to also have a lot of fun along the way! I'm also a Somatic Experiencing (a body-based trauma resolution modality) Practitioner in training, and that informs my work as well. It's not just beliefs that get in the way of us bringing ourselves fully into the world. Traumatic experiences from our past, held in our nervous systems, deeply inform the way we show up on a daily basis. Somatic Experiencing provides a bottom-up approach to gently help heal those traumas that talking alone cannot fully address.

Testimonials:
I am a graduate student who was having trouble balancing workload, personal relationships, and health. Noah coached me to obtain reachable goals in a timely manner. We discussed what I wanted and the obstacles that were in the way of me getting there. He helped me create action plans and celebrated each tiny success along the way. I was really struggling staying on top of all the assignments that were due and keeping organized. Having someone talk through things helped me with my anxiety about my graduation requirements. I was also having difficulty getting enough sleep and exercise. He helped me put my self-care goals into place in a way that I could easily fit them into my schedule by starting off with smaller goals such as committing to 20 minutes of exercise 3 times a week. I used to put off working out completely because taking an hour out of my day seemed unmanageable with how tired I was by the end of the work day. I usually would get so stressed out about it that I would just avoid it completely. Learning to take baby steps towards my goals was such a gift. He helped me create healthy sleep routines and discover the root of my anxiety. My favorite part was when I would obtain a goal how he would celebrate with me. I couldn't wait to text him pictures or evidence of my success! It was great to know that I had somebody rooting for me and who was understanding when I fell short of the goal that week. I found extreme comfort in the way that he talked to me and helped me take a deeper look at the barriers to my success and what facilitators I can put into play. I am on track to graduate in May and I owe much of that success to Noah! -Josi D.
Working with Noah was both a treat and a big boost to how I approach goal setting. Not only did Noah help me build the habits and accountability structures to achieve my goals, but most importantly he asked simple, thoughtful questions that encouraged me to reflect on the motives behind them. All of this is packaged within conversations that can be as playful as they are no-nonsense, resulting in a fulfilling, helpful, and enjoyable growth experience. Thank you, Noah!
